Riya Bhat

Hi my name is Riya Bhat, and I am a sophomore at Mountain Vista High School! My main passion is focused on Health Science as I aspire to pursue a career in Medicine in the future. I love working with others to help them reach their own personal goals and grow as individuals. At Simply Learning, I hope to achieve this success with your child too!

Within my involvement at school, I serve as the State President of Colorado TSA (and was past State Treasurer) as well as a TSA chapter officer for Mountain Vista. I also occupy the role of being the Vice President of Mountain Vista’s HOSA Chapter - the biggest in the state. I am also involved in activities such as: Math Club, Coding Club, and I also run for the Track Team. Currently, I have a GPA of 4.33. Aside from this, I am one of the leaders of a school-wide initiative to promote diversity and create a safer environment for students at school. Through this program, No Place For Hate, we can reach out to students in need and advocate acceptance through a united effort. Participating in all these different activities has allowed me to acquire the important skills needed to build and strengthen connections with others as well as provide an opportunity to teach your child these skills as well.

Outside of school I enjoy baking and cooking for my family as well as drawing and painting too. Even more than that, I love volunteering at the Children’s Hospital every Sunday and getting involved in the community. This has inspired me to take on tutoring here at Simply Learning and encourage students to learn and explore what they are truly interested in!
