My inspiration for starting Simply Learning occurred at Kumon, one of my previous part-time jobs. As I individually tutored the kids, I began to recognize the potential of each and every one of them. That personal student-to-student connection between us truly enabled them to achieve much more: better understanding of math concepts, easier comprehension of reading passages, and generally a happier and more confident attitude.

I am currently a freshman at UC Berkeley as part of its Global Management Program (if you're interested in international business, I highly recommend taking a look at it!) In high school, I was the president of Model United Nations, Math Club, vice-president of Spanish National Honor Society, and the treasurer of Interact Club. I was also constantly active in National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society, volunteering at multitudes of organizations. Simply Learning not only gave me the chance to combine my passions in business and social impact, but also provided plenty of opportunity for personal growth.

I am also passionate about the world. From learning about my rich cultural heritage throughout China to teaching English in Taiwan at an elementary school to studying in London during my freshman year in college, global experiences have gifted me countless new perspectives and better prepared me to make an impact on both a local and global scale.

I have scored 5s on AP Human Geography, AP European History, AP Chinese, AP Calc BC, APUSH, and AP Lang as well as a 1540 on my SAT and a 35 on my ACT. Though scores don't define who you are, they certainly have an impact on potential opportunities, and that is what I want to improve for your kid.

I look forward to tutoring your child in the future!
